Green smoothie leaving you feeling green in the gills? This week we’re serving up some serious green benefits and a familiar smooth finish you’re sure to love…
A green smoothie is about as close to a vitamin shot as Mother Nature can get. However, it’s not always easy to choke down these ‘lawn-mower clippings’. Additionally, as we approach warmer weather you may be finding it harder to drink a daily mug of steaming broth. If this sounds familiar, then this recipe was made for you. Making smoothies is a great way to hide broth in something sweet and refreshing, while still reaping the benefits of a good broth. Since broth is most often used in savory dishes, it may seem a bit unorthodox to combine fresh fruits and veggies with broth, but we promise you the results are well worth the leap of faith. You can find this recipe and more in our cookbook, The Bare Bones Broth Cookbook, available in our online store! Bon appétit!
